Discover the Jewel of Harbour Green Estates
The HGSC Bocce League was established in 2019 and Mike Sarna, current HGSC President, has served as its commissioner since inception. There are nearly 130 member participants whose ages range from 15 – 90 years old. Organized Bocce has increased the utilization of the club significantly, is self-funded and enjoyed by all.

League Types:
- Competitive League

- Traditionally a men’s league
- Currently includes one woman
- Fun Lovers League

- Initially all couples
- Now includes all-female teams
- Emphasizes enjoyment
Season Begins: Friday after Memorial Day Weekend
Season Ends: Last Weekend in September (including playoffs)
Seasonal Team Fee: $60.00 per team
Teams:
- Consist of 4 players, with 1-2 alternates recommended to avoid cancellations or forfeits
- One-hour games are scheduled online
- Daily court times are: 5:00-6:00, 7:00-8:00, 8:00-9:00
- Captains arrange convenient times with competing teams
Terms:
- Approximately 7 games per season.
- Top 4 teams in each league qualify for playoffs
Bocce Awards Dinner:
- Typically held the Wednesday after election day at Patrizia’s
- Attendance costs approximately $65.00 per person
Optional HGSC Bocce Apparel: Apparel featuring team logo is encouraged
